Salsa band Cienfuegos expands to an eleven piece salsa orchestra La Moña Loca every Wednesday night for your dancing pleasure!
La Mona Loca peforms original arrangements and material from groups such as Ray Barretto, Maraca, The Spanish Harlem Orchestra, The Fania All-Stars, Calle Real, El Gran Combo and more.
$7 Cover. 9PM-12AM.
Preceded by free salsa lessons with Esther at 8pm.
Salsa instructor Esther M. Weekes, Ed.D., is a native of England. She began learning Casino in 2005 and was hooked from the start! She initially studied with Sandra Moro-Sleeper, a second-generation Cuban, in her current home town of Austin, TX. She has attended workshops in Casino, Rueda de Casino and Rumba in the US and Mexico and most recently in Havana, Cuba.
